Search Engine Submission and Search Engine List
Search engines this, search engines that, all of us know that it is important for the search engines to index our sites, especially adult sites, but how and where do you submit your site instead of waiting for the search engine spider to find you.
Search Engines are not to fond of adult site, this is easy to see by the fact that Yahoo will bill you $299 a year for a directory listing if your site in a non-adult listing, and $600 per year if your site is adult, double the price and recurring.
So apart from some of my past articles on how to improve your rankings by using the correct keywords, meta-tags, alt text, and page titles I want to keep you abreast of current conclusions in the Search Engine world and also provide you a list of Search Engines and directories that are non-adult that do accept adult submissions. I am also going to teach you how to prepare for submitting to these search engines.
For starters you will need to do a little research for all your keywords, see "Choosing the right keywords for your Adult Web Site". Then go to my Search Engine Preparation sheet and convert this into a word or text document. Now go through each step and fill out all the information for each square, if you do not have a tool to count characters then click here to use this Character Counter Tool.
Once you have your prep sheet ready you can go to the Search Engines And Directories below and start to submit your web sites, remember to make a separate prep sheet for each of your domain names. This is a timely process, make sure that you fill in all the information completely so that you get the best results back from searches where you are listed otherwise this is a waste of time for you. Remember time is money, always look for the most uses out of all your activities to make money.
Tip of the Week:
When creating domain names, folder names, file names etc. use dashes instead of underscores because most search engines see the dash as a space or separator between the words, whereas the underscore is seen as another character.
